How far is the camping field from the festival field?

A short walk of about 5 minutes

Will I be able to park next to my pitch?   

 

Yes. One vehicle per pitch

Will there be toilets on the camping field?   

 

Yes, both conventional festival loos and a disabled cubicle which will be available and cleaned regularly.

Will there be water available?   

 

Yes, but this will be piped water and from a tank so we recommend it is boiled before drinking.

Can we have an open fire or BBQ? 

 

No.  Due to the close proximity of other campers and grassland close by, no fires or barbecues are permitted. This also includes Chinese lanterns.

Will there be showers available? 

 

Yes there will be a limited number of showers available which will be FREE to use.

When can we arrive if we are camping over (and when must we leave)?

 

You can arrive anytime from midday on the Thursday, and must leave by midday on Monday. Please note if you arrive before midday Thursday you will not be able to access the campsite.  If you need a special arrangement, please contact us.

Will I be able to get breakfast on camping field?

 

Yes.  There will be a food stall located in the main camping area, which you can get breakfast from, cooked by local Scouts.  All profits will be going to them.

What can I put on my pitch? 

 

You can put one tent, caravan or motorhome,  one awning or gazebo and one vehicle per tent/caravan.  Your pitch will be approximately 6m x 4m, although we will not be out with tape measures, but if your home away from home is significantly longer than that please get in touch so we can reserve you a space in the designated area.

Is there Glamping Available?

Yes!

We have an outside company providing Glamping.  They will come and put up the Bell Tent and all the bits inside - all you need to do it turn up!  Prices vary on size and level of supplies.  Please click here for full details.  Dogs are welcome in the Glamping tents, but please make them aware when you are booking.
